Weekend with the Drakes!

Our family went to Spokane this weekend so I could attend the Jr. All-State Choir on Saturday. (Eleven of my Morgan choir students were in the Jr. All-State Choir.) We made the weekend even more fun by staying with Bonnie and Aaron Drake! We loved our time with them. Here is a cute picture of Will with Bonnie and Aaron on their couch.
Bonnie and Aaron took a picture of us in their kitchen -- I think it's pretty obvious that Bonnie took this one while we were smiling at the camera Aaron was holding. It's just a slight height difference ... ha! I almost forgot to mention that Aaron wouldn't stop screaming the whole weekend. I think he taught Will some bad habits ... ;)

I have to admit ... that last caption was a joke. It was WILL that screamed all weekend. He wasn't screaming as in "throwing a tantrum," though. He was just screaming for ... fun? Oh, boy.

News flash! Will is cute!

I realize this isn't the greatest picture on earth (Will's hand is WAY too close to the camera), but his face is just so cute!!!

Lining stuff up ... is this normal?

I think maybe he has seen Mommy stack her piles one too many times!

Rock Star

Will loves to play in the back yard lately. His favorite past time is picking up stones from the border around our fence and lining them up on the deck.
He just found a great rock ...

... and now he starts lining them up on the deck!

He's on a mission!

The end of moo ...

In an attempt to entertain Will, I took him on an afternoon jaunt the other day.
First stop: Fred Meyer, of course!
Here is Will riding the Fred Meyer truck. I actually put in a quarter! He sat patiently for the entire bumpy ride.

Then, we rode around Ellensburg looking for animals. It didn't take long -- we saw goats, steer, and TONS of cows. I stopped at one field so we could take a closer look. When you ask Will what a cow says, he says, "Mmmmm!" So cute!

Will didn't want to have his picture taken as much as he wanted to hold the camera for himself! This is the face of frustration ...

Nope, the picture with Mommy isn't a good idea either. This was NOT posed, by the way. He pulled my hair (really hard!) right as the picture was snapping. Eek!

Fun games with Daddy

Here is a game Will loves to play with Brice!

So much fun!
Warning: do not try this on a hard surface.

Fun with the camera!

We had some fun with the camera tonight! I caught some adorable shots of Will and wanted to share them with you.
Will liked to look at the pictures on the camera screen after they were taken. He could point out "Mommy," "Will," and "dog" (the stuffed animal on the floor in the background).

Of course he kept trying to grab the camera!

Will liked pointing out his wagon in the background of this picture. He's running for the camera here!

Sweet boy!
