Tidbits

I think it's time for another blog listing Will's latest feats and quirks! His favorite things right now:

1. Playing in the backyard
2. "Jungle Junction," a show we accidentally stumbled upon on Playhouse Disney. It's about animals who are also vehicles. (They have wheels and such.) He sings the theme song "Gotta zip, gotta zip" but says "gotcha gotcha" instead.
3. Cereal bars
4. "I Spy" books
5. Saying "I don't like it!"
6. Resisting nap time
7. Singing the "Woah Woah Song." It's really called "Rise and Sing" -- I have it on CD because the "choir" sang it at church on Easter Sunday. I love to hear Will sing "hallelujah" and "our God reigns." So sweet!
8. Reading his Toddler Bible (He really likes to read the first page, where there is no light, no animals, and no people. Then he talks about how God put all of those things on the earth.)

Daffodils!

Although Brice had a meeting today, Will and I were able to enjoy the Daffodil Parade with my parents! We went downtown a little more than an hour early, found a parking spot (!), grabbed some lunch, claimed some "second row" seats, spent some time on the playground at Pioneer Park, and watched a little more than half of the parade before Will started asking for a nap. He really seemed to enjoy the parade! His favorite things were the cars (especially "Lizzie" and "Tex"), tractors, fire trucks, Santa (seriously), the instruments (marching bands), and the double decker bus. It was one of those wonderful sunny days -- we had a great time! This first picture shows us without our jackets (we got too hot) AND eating cotton candy (Will's first time). Thanks to YaYa, our photographer!

Here is proof that the weather was beautiful!

Easter 2010

Happy Easter, all! Here are some pictures from our Easter Sunday, in reverse order. (I am such a blogger novice!) We ended the day at my parents' house ...

The Johnson Boys

We have enjoyed having Daddy home for an extra day this weekend, even if he was "under the weather!" Here are Brice and Will waiting for breakfast at our favorite Puyallup coffee shop (Will loves the bagels, coloring books, and fountain with rubber duckies) and showing off their matching South Carolina T-shirts!

The Great Outdoors

We are so thankful for a great back yard! Will had a lot of fun playing outside with Grandma and Grandpa Johnson during their last visit. After they left we had another couple of days of sunshine (seen here) and now we're eagerly awaiting another dry day ...

The Music Man

Here are a few recent photos of Will following in Mommy and Daddy's footsteps! He likes to play the piano and strum the guitar. Yahoo!
