Will had his 2 year "Well Child" visit today, so here is the update!
Weight: 25.4 lbs (17th%)
Height: 2 ft 11 in (75th%)
Head circumference: 19.7 in (82nd%)
The doctor wasn't concerned about his weight, eating habits, verbal skills, or curved toes! He is in great health. Will was such a trooper during all of the tests. He was also VERY active -- the doctor and nurses were very entertained by his antics! As always, the doctor remarked that he is very strong. (He really didn't want his ears checked.)
Just so you can get a mental picture, here is a description of some of Will's antics. First, I was supposed to ask him to jump over a piece of paper to check his coordination. After I demonstrated, all he wanted to do was jump over that piece of paper! He kept saying "Juh!" (jump) and jumping and giggling. After he got tired of that, he kept climbing on a floor lamp, throwing away his toys and books (there was a really cool hole for a trashcan), AND he discovered he could open the door, so he repeatedly opened it and tried to run out of the room. Mommy is tired!
At the end of the visit, the doctor used liquid nitrogen to "freeze" off the bumps on his forehead. That was rather traumatic! When the procedure was finished, Will said "Yay" through his tears. Adorable. After that, he got a shot in the arm. Another tearful "yay." Then, we drove home and he fell asleep in the car. Whew!
I'll upload some new pictures soon and let you all know how the move is going. T minus two days until we pack the truck! Aaaaaaaack!
