Giggly dinner
It's dinner and a show! Will eats "juicy tomatoes" and "cow cheese." He also giggles so hard that he almost falls out of his chair!

Mini post
I looked over my next-to-last blog and realized I should do a mini update! Will now counts to 10 consistently (without leaving out any numbers) and he's a pro with colors and shapes! He loves coloring lately. Also, this morning he said "Open the door, please." It wasn't his first grammatically-correct complete sentence, but I'm sure it was his most polite grammatically-correct sentence to date! Tonight at the Pho restaurant, he very neatly ate soup AND drank water out of a regular glass. It's the little things, right?

Catharsis
I should probably look up the word "catharsis" before using it as a title for a blog post, but I remember my Senior English teacher saying it was "to purge of unhealthy emotions." Anyway, I had a really tough parenting day ... so I'm choosing to focus on the cute things Will has been doing lately. Today will soon vanish from my mind!

My favorite thing lately is that Will has been SINGING! He loves to sing "Happy Birthday." He often sings along with "Jesus Loves Me" during our bedtime routine, too. We tried to capture his singing on video recently and it was a no-go, but we will try again!
Yesterday Will's shoe fell off when I was lifting him into his car seat. It fell on to the driveway, and he yelled "My SHOE!" He sounded very distraught. I said, "It's OK; I'll put it back on." He replied, "Bird eat it!" I had a good laugh about that one. (It turns out that my mom threw an apple core on the ground once and told Will that a bird would eat it.)
We had some absolutely beautiful weather last week, so we took a couple of trips to the Tacoma waterfront. Brice introduced Will to the joy of throwing rocks into the water, and he is a BIG fan. So, here are some pictures of Will from our time on Ruston Way this past Saturday.
